Classic body style and aged finish gives a feel of a guitar that you have played
for more than 30 years.  Choice Alder wood for the body gives the solid tone
base.  Maple or Rosewood neck is standard, depending on the finish.  Maple
necks tend to offer more punch and treble to the tone.  Rosewood necks are a
bit warmer, more tempered tone.  All OF-19 models are nitro finish on both the
body and neck, featuring lacquer checking on most models.  The bridge has a
steel-block base with bent steel  saddles.

CM Special
The CM Special combines the style of a double-bound OF-20 wtih the growl of a
Fralin P-92 in the neck and a Steel Pole 43 in the bridge.   This pickup combo is
nice break from the traditional tone that is much stronger in midrange.  This is
one of the highest selling Old Friends.
